Chair Yoga

Chair yoga offers the benefits of yoga in a way that is accessible, supportive, and empowering—especially for those who are unable to get down on the floor or who need a more stable, adaptive approach to movement.

Gail Witte is an experienced yoga teacher and yoga therapist who is deeply committed to the belief that yoga is truly for everyone. If a doctor has recommended yoga but mobility challenges, balance concerns, injury, or chronic conditions make traditional classes feel out of reach, chair yoga provides a safe and effective path forward.

Using a chair as the primary support, Gail guides participants through mindful movement, gentle strengthening, breathwork, and relaxation—meeting each person where they are. Movements are designed to build confidence, support daily function, and help individuals experience the physical and mental benefits of yoga in a way that feels doable and respectful of their body.

Chair yoga is available:

  • One-on-one, for personalized support and individual goals

  • For groups, including community organizations, workplaces, senior living communities, and special events

Whether you are chair-bound, recovering from injury or surgery, managing a health condition, or simply seeking a gentler, more supportive practice, Gail creates an environment where success is possible and participation feels welcoming.

YoGail Studio’s chair yoga sessions reflect a whole-person approach—supporting strength, mobility, breath, and well-being, while honoring each individual’s unique needs and abilities.
